I do not know Carl Jung's relationship with his clients and his personal life. Because I don't want to jump to conclusions to praise him. However, he seems aware of many things that most psychologists are not if any, then or today. Metaphysician & Philosopher

The best part is starting from 29:30 “ ..because we need more psychology …. The only real danger that exists is man himself”.

"I was chatting with Meta AI about numbers when they mentioned Carl Jung and his book. I looked up his books and found 'Man and His Symbols'. After reading 40 pages, I was amazed by his insights on dreams. I closed the book and searched for him on UA-cam, curious to learn more. I was thrilled to find an interview with him! Now, I'm excited to read all his books. If anyone is exploring Jung's concepts, researching dreams, or working on related projects, I'd love to connect and collaborate. I've been fascinated by dreams for years and have had many personal experiences. Let's explore these ideas together!"

I recall being aware of myself as an individual consciousness at about 2 or younger - and have a photo of it so that I remember it (I suspect that most of us have a first consciousness of ourselves at this age, but tend to forget it. It might be why children have the ‘terrible twos’). I was sitting on a wall in our garden, still in nappies, and I had this clear, almost a thump, of an idea of my ‘being me’, off separateness, and of being a human just as the adults around me. When I shown the photo I asked my Mom to give it to me (could barely talk), which she did, and I still have it.

This recording of yours is the absolute best. Internet Archive has one copy of this record, but it's a bit scratchy. Is there any way I could get/buy an mp3 version of this from you? As a child I danced to this song from my grandparents' 78 records. There are dozens of jazz/rag versions of Eccentric on Internet Archive, but this one by Bund and his Bravour Dance Band is THE ONE!

Is the interviewer really trying to psychoanalyze Carl Jung? What a waste of an interview!! You know he's human in all respects that make you and I human, bro! Ask him about his learnings, you'd be doing a service to posterity.

Does anyone notice how he's trying to reduce Jung to all Freudian concepts in the beginning? Asking about his upbringing, childhood and school? Could anyone tell me if journalist's were limelight hungry even in those days?
